Graduate Trainee
Completed a structured internship supporting my National Diploma in Information Systems, rotating through debtors, creditors, procurement and IT support. The programme gave me practical exposure to both organisational financial processes and information technology operations.
Illovo Sugar

IT Support Technician — Southern Africa
Provided regional IT support and produced weekly and monthly spreadsheet-based operational and executive reports across the SADC region. Responsibilities included server and end-user support, hardware and software rollouts, help-desk services, and daily maintenance of rail charges and sugar-cane and sugar pricing using applicable market rates.
eThekwini Municipality
1999–2002
IT Support Manager
Managed a six-person IT support function responsible for network, systems and end-user support across the western and northern regions of KwaZulu-Natal. Oversaw technology rollouts and supported municipal cashier systems, Metro Police systems, speed-camera infrastructure and CCTV installations across streets and municipal buildings.
KZN Wildlife
2002–2003
IT Manager
Managed a ten-person IT team supporting KZN Wildlife sites, parks and hospitality operations throughout KwaZulu-Natal, reporting to senior executive leadership. Responsibilities covered IT policy and reporting, staff KPIs, network management and rollouts, hospitality systems, hardware, POS infrastructure and SQL Server environments.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines / Air France / Kenya Airways
IT Director — Southern Africa
Directed network, infrastructure and end-user IT support for airline operations across Southern Africa, including remote support, airport systems, printers and staff management, with professional training and study undertaken in Amsterdam. The role also included limited support for Lufthansa operations where required.

IT Management, Security Compliance & Risk Consultant
Provided consulting support across IT management, security compliance and operational risk within mining and logistics environments. Work included CCTV installation and CMS monitoring, technology oversight, security-related risk management and ad-hoc support involving protective services.
